Here lately, my kiddo has been able to sit and focus on one task for a little bit of time, and, we’re ripping up nearly all of our “Flap” books that he likes to flip through. In an effort to create something a bit more sturdy that would continue to help him with his fine motor skills and give Momma a 15 minute break from time to time, I whipped up this Busy Board during nap time.
Not long ago, I built and shared two adorable wooden fence panels to help contain my kiddo in the backyard. Shortly thereafter, a storm came along and knocked the cute fence panels out on the driveway and broke them apart. I’ve patched and repaired the panels multiple times now, but, the gap between the house and garage that needs fenced off creates a wind tunnel that just doesn’t work with the design I had drawn up. Time for a redesign.
We’ve been cleaning out the closets lately and either finding purposes for our belongings, donating them or tossing them. One fun discovery I made during the last “Random Closet Purge” was our curtains from the wedding arbor we were married beneath.
When my wonderful husband and I first got engaged, I did what any red blooded woman does- I started a Pinterest Board. I knew I wanted the ceremony outdoors, I knew I wanted simple decor and I knew I wanted to keep costs down as much as possible.
