When I was young and people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I knew I wanted to be a Momma. My Grandmothers both imparted on me the importance and enjoyment of homemaking. I’m also the daughter of a carpenter and grew up hanging out in my Daddy’s woodshop banging nails into 2×4’s. These two driving influences in my life have led me here; a crafter and maker trying to balance the need to create with the need to stay on a budget, keep my kid out of harms way and ensure dinner is on the table every night. I’m driven by a vision of a home full of good food, cozy blankets and all things Hygge.
