Simple 3 Ingredient Granola Bars
I’m currently on a crusade to lower our family’s Sugar Intake and after an alarming trip to the grocery store, I’ve decided that in order to go low/no sugar on most of our daily foods, I’m going to need to find Recipes and start cooking. One simple swap was to try this 3 ingredient Granola Bars for my Husband’s Lunches and my Toddler’s Snack time.
The Inspiration for these bars come from a handful of different “Power Ball” and “Granola Bar” recipes I looked over on Pinterest. I saw a lot that looked delicious full of dried berries, nuts, seeds, chocolates or candies, but in the end, I stuck with this.
I take each of my bars and wrapped it in a piece of Parchment Paper to keep all the delicious crumbs together and to make them easier for grabbing in the morning.
And that’s that; Super simple, three ingredients that I can spell and trust, and free of added sugars or preservatives. These have been a hit with the kid, the husband and even the dog enjoyed the little bits he got to try from the floor under the high chair. I think these would be great with raisins, Chocolate Chips or sunflower seeds. Try it out and let me know what you think!
